“I’ve put this off for far too long.” YES!!! I am finally back to writing! Ahhh… It’s been months since I’ve really written and that is far too long to go. Although I have a few stories in progress right now, I’ve suddenly become inspired to write a brand new story. But what is really cool about this story, is that it will tie into one of my WIP – the WIP being the sequel 😀
I almost feel like this story has been handed to me. The idea for it came through a random and quite silly, “What if…” question I asked my mom last night. And after laughing about how silly and random it was, I thought, hey. What IF that really happened? Through that crazy “what if” I thought of something very interesting for a story and also figured out the message inside of it. Today, ideas and plans for this new story have been flowing onto the paper and I can’t wait to get everything figured out so I can start writing it! And possibly share a bit of the plot with you 😉
Well, I’m off to continue my writing! Wish me luck! 😀

YES, “What if…” questions are pretty much the most inspiring questions a writer can ask. Goodness, my story ideas can come from almost anything…usually, it’s those tiny, everyday things that past by us every day that just happen to get my attention, and then BAM! The gears start turning, and a story starts brewing. I’ve had a flow of inspiration the past few days for NaNoWriMo 2016, and now that the water’s flowing, I can’t let it turn off. My main inspiration for it comes from a game one of my good friends and I used to play when we were younger. 😉 I thought back on that game the other day, and asked myself that same question….What if? What IF it wasn’t just a game? What IF this imaginary world were real? What IF…etc. And now, I have so much already planned, I’m going for the big 50K this year!
That question surely is a brilliant one. Looking forward to whatever you’re writing! Go for it, girl!
I’ll definitely be sure to post both stories once they’re finished! I’m hoping I’ll be able to make them each long enough to be a book. I’ve never done that before, but my goal is to have them be my longest stories
Oh, wow! That is awesome, Misty! Have you ever written a 50,000 word story before? My longest is about 10,000 😛 I just can’t seem to figure out how to make them longer…
You’ve got me thinking, though, that I should start planning for NaNoWriMo, too! Last year I was so busy that I didn’t meet my word count goal. I’m hoping to be more organized this year, though

No, I’ve never reached 50K before. My longest is probably my NaNo story from last year, which was 32,340 words. So if I can reach 50K this year, that will be my longest yet!
Yes, I was extremely busy last year too. xD I also made up my mind I was going to do NaNo right before November…so I wasn’t really prepared at all. 😛 I’m hoping to outline the entire novel before November so I’ll have something to follow.
