About the Author

Jaclynn is 18 years old with a passion for writing. Since she was little she always had a big imagination and spent her days playing in her room creating stories – most of which were Little House on the Prairie related. She played all day, every day for years and would want her set up to be so perfect, she would spend an entire day just with set up and then start playing the next day.
When she got a little older, she started a newspaper called “Jaclynn’s News” and she loved to hand out her latest edition to her friends at church. She was super excited with the response she got and around this time, her love for writing began to grow.
She wrote three short stories when she was around 11-12 about a girl named Courtney and her horse, Belinda. She tried to write a couple more short stories after that, but they just weren’t working out well for her.
It wasn’t until a few years later that Jaclynn really began to feel the calling to be a writer. She absolutely loved making photostories on her doll blog and got many compliments on them.
Not long after, she found a few writing related blogs and participated in some writing challenges which only made her passion grow even more!
To this day, Jaclynn is always searching for more writing blogs and wishes there were 500 that she followed so she could constantly have a new writing related post to read.
Jaclynn has just finished writing the first draft of her novel, True Colors and is planning to publish it sometime in the future. It’s hard, but so much fun! She loves FaceTime-ing with her best friend, Emma as they procrastinate writing write together, supporting each other all the way.

Now that you know all about the writer side of Jaclynn, let’s take a look at the rest of her, shall we?

Hi! I’m a crazy, donut loving, fangirl who is also a Jedi Master and an Elf living in Rivendell in the wonderful realm called Middle-Earth. Perhaps you’ve heard of it? It’s quite beautiful here :)

Anyway, yes, I’m completely insane and seem to get a little crazier as the years go by. I love to laugh for no reason at all, make crazy faces, and I’m not ashamed to show the fangirl inside me! Which means, if we were ever to meet in person, I’d most likely be wearing a fangirl shirt, quote a movie during my time spent with you, and if I learn you haven’t seen Lord of the Rings or Star Wars – WATCH OUT! I will rant and yell in your face to watch it until you do. Okay, I probably wouldn’t yell in your face, but you get the idea, right? XD

Let’s see, more facts about me are that I am a Christian, I’m very short for my age, and I’m usually hungry. Yeah… I love food. Especially donuts, in case you haven’t heard 😉 I am also homeschooled and have been all my life :)

I’m a collector and anything I collect keeps growing until it takes over my room. I collect dolls, POP!s (THEY’RE SO CHUBBY!!!), and BB-8. Yes, BB-8. He’s mine. All mine. You can’t have my precious BB-8. *hugs him tight and never lets go*

I am the youngest of 4 siblings and I have a brother in-law and a sister-in-law! *squeal* I love my family dearly and would do anything for them. They mean everything to me. <3

I absolutely LOVE little kids!!! AND BABIES!! They’re so cute and chubby and funny! 😀

I love Starbucks and British accents. Disneyland is pretty amazing and I love to scream on any ride! I have a death scream that makes others laugh… Hee hee. XD

Aside from writing, God has also given me a gift of crocheting. I sell 18″ doll costumes in my Etsy shop :)

Well, I believe that’s all I have to say, aside from Han Solo should never have died, Captain Swan is the best, and I will leave you with my favorite writing quote:

    Great page, Jaclynn!!!! Ahem, about that…. I’ve never seen Star Wars. *cringes and waits for Jaclynn to explode* Or Lord of The Rings….. I’ve read the books though!!!!! I’ve only had donuts once in my life. Gluten-free is my excuse. Rivendell is awesome!!!

    So I was scrolling through my blogging reader and I saw a bunch of posts about your birthday, and I feel so bad this is belated! But you’re an incredible blogging friend to me (despite my random hiatuses lately *sad BB-8 sounds*) and I have to comment about this happening.
    Sooo HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JACLYNN!!!!! *showers you with confetti and donuts and dark chocolate and Starbucks* 18??? That’s crazy!! I hope you had an absolutely AMAZING day, my friend. :) What did you do to celebrate?? Also how have you been lately?? How does it feel to be 18? o_O
    (I feel like there’s so much I need to catch up on ahhhhh)

      AGH MISTYYYY!!! When I saw notifications from you pop up I seriously freaked out! I was SO excited to hear from you!! 😀
      AWWW!! That’s alright! No need for the sad BB-8 sound ;D Thank you SOOO much, Misty!! *devours donuts, dark chocolate, and all the starbucks frappes and goes on a sugar high* XD
      I did have such a great time celebrating! The day before my birthday I got some blonde highlights and on my birthday my mom and I went to lunch and did some shopping at the mall. When we got home, we did presents and I got a LAPTOP WHICH I AM USING RIGHT NOW, some awesome Star Wars things, and then we watched the greatest movie all time – Return of the King. *heart eyes*
      Then yesterday my brother and sister in-law came down and our entire family got dressed up and went out to dinner – it was really nice! <3
      Hmm... I've been good! I was stressing for a while about turning 18, but now that I am 18 I feel at peace about it. The whole adult thing was just stressing me out. XD
      It's SO weird to think I'm 18 now - an adult! But it's exciting, too! It makes me excited for my future :)
