Monthly Archives: February 2016

Hi there! As most of you know, the 21st was my 17th birthday! I had a great day with my family and today I’m going to show you what I got! 😀

Remember, I am by no means bragging. Hauls are just a thing that bloggers and even YouTubers do. I know that you want to know what I got and I’d like to show you, as well because I am very excited :)

Here is an overview of what I got from brother, Jordan and his fiancé, Aaryn.

I got the Poe Infinity Figure which I LOVE!!! He’s AMAZING!! I’ve been wanting him for a long time so I’m very happy to have gotten him! 😀 I also got a pack of TFA Trading Cards and $30! Oh! And also a BB-8 Keychain which I forgot to take a picture of XD

So I’m sure you all noticed the Kylo Ren Birthday Card they gave me…. And Jordan wrote “Sithster” on the front. Oh gosh. Just no.

Look at him- trying to tempt me to join the Dark Side. I wouldn’t join for a million donuts XD And also on the envelope they wrote “To the soon to be Sith, Darthlynn” LOLOL! XD

From my sister, Jen, and my brother in-law, Jason :)

They gave me an adorable BB-8 sticker!!

This book, Rey’s Story, is basically The Force Awakens, but it’s all from Rey’s POV, so it has more detail and you understand more what she’s feeling and thinking throughout the movie. It’s SO good! After I took these pictures, my camera still around my neck, I started reading it. I have 5 more chapters left- NOOO!!! DONT END!!! XD

Here’s the back :)

And I also got the Disney Infinity Toy Box Speedway! It’s a racing game for Disney Infinity and I’ve been playing it so much! It’s really fun! 😀

So that’s all I got that I can really take pictures of, but from my brother, Jacob, I got a reflector and a stand to hold it up while I’m taking pictures! I can’t wait to use that! And from my parents I got some clothes and I’m also getting something else pretty big that my grandpa will have a hand in…. *mischievious grin*

So now that I’ve shown you what I got, here’s some pics of my Star Wars decorations! I didn’t get to take pics of everything, but these will have to do 😉

Instead of a cake we had stacked up Krispy Kreme donuts! My sister brought some SW food sticks to put on them so it would be more Star Wars-y! Here’s Han Solo :)

And here is Leia :)

And here’s my Poe figure next to a sign that says “Hap-Poe Birthday!”

And here’s Rey next to a sign that says “You don’t need to scavenge for birthday wishes.”

And of course, BB-8 wishing me a happy birthday! 😀

I brought out all of my Star Wars Vinylmations and set them up around the house!

And here’s a sign explaining why we were having donuts XD

So that’s all for today! I hope you liked the pictures! :)

If you could have one themed Birthday Party, what would the theme be?

Love,

~Fluffet~

P.S. OH! I also forgot to take a pic of my BB-8 mug that my friend got me! Oops! Well, you’ll be seeing it pretty soon 😉

“I’ve put this off for far too long.” YES!!! I am finally back to writing! Ahhh… It’s been months since I’ve really written and that is far too long to go. Although I have a few stories in progress right now, I’ve suddenly become inspired to write a brand new story. But what is really cool about this story, is that it will tie into one of my WIP – the WIP being the sequel 😀

I almost feel like this story has been handed to me. The idea for it came through a random and quite silly, “What if…” question I asked my mom last night. And after laughing about how silly and random it was, I thought, hey. What IF that really happened? Through that crazy “what if” I thought of something very interesting for a story and also figured out the message inside of it. Today, ideas and plans for this new story have been flowing onto the paper and I can’t wait to get everything figured out so I can start writing it! And possibly share a bit of the plot with you 😉

Well, I’m off to continue my writing! Wish me luck! 😀

Where do your story ideas come from?

Love,
~Fluffet~

I thought of such a plot twist and got so excited about this story and the sequel that I literally wanted to scream! I had an ice cream bar to celebrate XD Do you ever get so excited about your story that you feel like you’re about to burst?

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! I’ve received two special cards from my parents and a BB-8 necklace from my mom which I am in love with!! I’ll be posting a pic of it soon – I’m planning a BB-8 collection post, so I thought that maybe you wouldn’t want to see the same thing twice XD

But today, I also received something from a very sweet person…

My brother’s fiancé, Aaryn, dropped by yesterday and brought us all chocolate covered strawberries from her work. She found out then that I love dark chocolate, so today she came by and gave me a small box of dark chocolate covered strawberries! Isn’t that so sweet?

Mmmm… They’re so good!! I’ve had 2 already and could probably eat 2 more right now, but I want to make them last :)

I’m glad that Aaryn and I have reached the point where we can say “I love you” now, even if it has just started, it’s nice to be able to tell her that.

I know a lot of people feel like Valentine’s Day is just for couples, but really, it’s a great day to express your love for anyone who’s special to you. There’s the guy and girl love, brother and sister love, sister love, parent and child love, friend love, and so much more. But most important of all, there’s the love between God and all of us. We love because He first loved us :)

“Living He loved me. Dying He saved me. Buried He carried my sins far away.” From Glorious Day by Casting Crowns.

Whenever you’re feeling alone or that there is just no one around who loves you, always remember that God loves you more than anyone in this world ever could! He sent His son to be with us and He died on the cross to save us all from our sins. That’s the greatest love of all! :)

Love,

~Fluffet~

Aww! It’s already over? *cries*

Today I am sharing a quote from my favorite TV show, Once Upon A Time!

This is the sweetest thing. When Belle is working for Rumplestiltskin she drops a teacup and it gets chipped. She feels so awful about it, but Rumple doesn’t care. Later on, when he’s told by Regina (the Evil Queen) that Belle is dead, he takes the teacup and places it on a pedestal in memory of her, the one he loves. He saves it for over 28 years and when he is reunited with Belle, she’s surprised and touched to see that he kept it all those years. The teacup has a special meaning to them and almost resembles their relationship.

On their wedding night, when they are saying their vows, Belle says, “Sometimes the best book has the dustiest jacket. And sometimes the best teacup is chipped.”

Belle and Rumple are one of my favorite couples. You can’t help but root for them to be together and when things are going rough for them, when Rumple is choosing power over her, you feel so heartbroken, mostly for Belle. She has lost so much and to see her losing Rumple is so sad.

I don’t know how things are gonna be for them when the season starts up again, but I hope that someday, they will finally be living happily ever after :)

~Fluffet~

Hi there! Sorry this is being posted so late, but better late then never! ;D

Here is my quote for the day:

I find myself feeling the same way about things as Danielle felt about books. Although, this isn’t really one of my top favorite quotes, it’s a quote that I can relate to and I’m going to explain why I decided to post this quote today.

I’ve been trying to think for days of what quote I was going to post next. I knew I wanted it to be a LOTR quote, but as I was writing down my favorite ones, I realized I could not choose just one favorite quote to post. There are countless amazing quotes in the LOTR movies, for example- “I would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone.” “All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you.” “Put aside the ranger, become who you were born to be.”

And those are just a few! I found myself torn and I thought of the quote from Danielle- “I could no sooner choose a favorite star in the heavens.” That quote is a perfect example of how I feel about all the amazing LOTR quotes. Could I just post the scripts for all three movies on here? XD

In what way can you relate to Danielle’s words?

Love,

~Fluffet~

Hi everyone! I was nominated by Clara for the Quote of the Day Challenge! Thanks so much, Clara! 😀

Here are the rules:

Post one quote a day for three days. You don’t have to post three days in a row, just be sure to do it once so the challenge will be passed on :)

Nominate three new people each day.

Okie dokie! Here’s the amazing quote for the day:

It was hard for me to choose a quote, since I have a gazillion favorites, but I decided to go with one of my newer favorites said by Han Solo in The Force Awakens. This scene is hilarious. Finn, who doesn’t really know anything about the Force, says they can use the Force to complete their mission. But Han Solo, who is quite frustrated with Finn, says “That’s not how the Force works!” I love the expression on Han’s face when he says this- it’s so funny! XD

So there’s my quote for the day! Since I don’t know who has or hasn’t been nominated for this challenge, I’ll nominate the first three people who say they’d like to do this challenge! :)

Have a great day! 😀

Love,

~Fluffet~
